THE LEGENDS ROLEPLAY / CITY CODE

Rules for the stories we share.

A great city is built together. Keep every story immersive, respectful, and worth remembering.

SERVER RULES15 CATEGORIESLAST UPDATED / 10 OCTOBER 2026

§ STANDING ORDERS

THE RULEBOOK

Binding for every citizen. Ignorance is not a defence — read it before you write your first scene.

These rules exist to maintain a fair, immersive, and enjoyable roleplay experience. All rules are enforced at staff discretion, and every situation is reviewed based on context rather than specific examples. Staff decisions are made collectively whenever possible.

Roleplay comes first. Staff will determine whether actions meet the server's roleplay standards. Approach every scenario with an open mind. Roleplay is about creating stories, not winning. Enjoy the journey, even when outcomes are unexpected.

A working microphone with clear audio is required.

Warning points remain active for 30 days and determine ban severity. Previous violations may still be considered when issuing permanent bans or other punishments. Whitelist access may be revoked if roleplay standards are not maintained.

PUNISHMENT PROGRESSION

  • Verbal Warning
  • 2-Day Ban
  • 7-Day Ban
  • 14-Day Ban
  • 30-Day Ban

  • Powergaming means forcing things to happen in roleplay without giving the other player a chance to react or choose, You decide everything yourself and don’t let others play their part.

  • Example 1: Taking out your phone and texting while running in handcuffs

  • Example 2: Zip ties instantly without any roleplay or time

Meta Gaming

  • Metagaming is when you use information from outside the game (OOC) like Discord, streams, or maps to affect your in-character (IC) actions, even though your character never learned that information in roleplay.

  • Example 1: Joining a robbery location because you saw it on a Discord call or Twitch stream.

  • Example 2: Identifying a masked player because you recognize their voice from outside the game.

COMMUNITY STANDARD / 09

Force & Fear RP

Force RP

  • You may not force another player into a scenario (e.g. "You must comply") if they have no chance of escape or response.

Low-Effort RP

Gang Rules & Regulations

Lore & Roleplay

  • There is no mandatory requirement to follow a specific gang lore.

  • However, gangs are expected to remain reasonably consistent with the areas, atmosphere, and storyline of GTA V.

Territory Captures

  • Unclaimed Territories may be captured by any gang.

  • Claimed Territories may only be challenged after: Meaningful verbal threats or escalation, or an official meeting between the involved gangs.

  • Random or unprovoked territory captures are not permitted.

Hood Capture Rules

  • A 24-hour Cooldown applies between all Hood and Territory Capture attempts.

  • A gang must have engaged in at least 3 roleplay conflicts/fights before initiating another Hood Capture.

  • During a Hood Capture, capturing a hood using only sprays and drugs while the opposing gang is offline will be considered Low Effort Roleplay (LERP) and is punishable.

Hood Capture Member Limits

  • Attacking/Capturing Gang: Maximum 5 members

  • Defending Gang: Maximum 8 members

  • No additional members may join once the fight has started.

Police Interaction

  • Interactions between gangs and the Police must not immediately escalate to gunfire, even if they occur inside your own hood.

  • For minor offences or routine police interactions, gangs are expected to attempt escape or negotiate before resorting to violence.

Police During Gang Fights

  • If Police arrive during a gang fight only to secure bodies or preserve the scene, gangs may not force officers to surrender those bodies.

  • It is the gang's responsibility to recover or secure their members using their own planning and strategy.

  • If officers are directly threatened, the Police may intervene once the gang fight has concluded.

Police Looting

  • During any fight against a Government Department, each player may loot 1 Secondary Weapon per Player (Class 1 — Handguns, Tazers, etc.)

  • The entire group combined may loot a maximum of 3 Primary Weapons (ARs, Shotguns, SMGs) total — not per person.

  • Collecting Police equipment simply to stockpile weapons, ammunition, or other resources after a fight is strictly prohibited.

  • Any member found abusing Police looting will receive Gang Strikes.

Gang Strikes

  • Failure to comply with Gang Rules will result in a Gang Strike.

  • Upon receiving 3 Strikes, the gang will be disbanded.

  • A disbanded gang must restart its progression from the beginning.

Possession of State Equipment

  • If any gang member is found in possession of State-issued equipment, the Police may launch an investigation and conduct a raid on the gang.

  • Members are responsible for any illegal possession of State property.

COMMUNITY STANDARD / 15

Addon Rules

ADDON RULES

Police Department (PD) Rules

  • Looting PD is not allowed until gangs are properly formed and approved by staff.

  • Code Red in minor situations is strictly not allowed.

Illegal Activity Rules

  • New players must complete a minimum of 3 days play time before engaging in illegal activities:

  • House robbery

  • ATM robbery

  • Chop shop operations

  • This rule applies to everyone (new and returning players).

  • Players must have 24 hours of play time before starting any criminal activities.

  • Players must have 3 days (72 hours) of play time before forming or joining a gang.

POV Requirement

  • POV (proof of video) is mandatory for all situations.

  • Staff may request POV at any time; failure to provide it can result in consequences.

Progression Rules

  • Do Your Own Progression: Do not openly discuss or share illegal progression details that could unfairly advance another player's storyline.

  • No Illegal Content in Public Chats: Do not post information about illegal locations, activities, or related content, including in Dark Chat or public channels.

  • Strict Enforcement: Violators will face immediate and strict action.

Criminal Rules Enforcement

  • Robbery Cooldown Misuse: Bypassing robbery cooldowns by rotating illegal jobs within the same group is considered an exploit and forbidden.

  • Proper roleplay and cooldowns must be respected between robberies.

  • Excessive PIT Maneuvers: PITs should be realistic and balanced, not used to instantly end scenarios or make vehicles unusable. Reckless PITing is strictly prohibited.

Character Switching Lock (Per Restart)

  • Once you begin active roleplay on a character, you are locked to that character until the next server restart.

  • Switching to another character mid-session to avoid consequences (arrest, debt, conflict, death) is strictly forbidden and treated as a form of combat logging.

  • You may not use a second character to assist, spy on, or benefit your primary character within the same restart cycle this is character mixing.

  • If you log out and return before a restart, you must continue on the same character you were last playing.

  • Why this rule exists: Character switching mid-session destroys narrative continuity ongoing RP scenarios, police pursuits, gang conflicts, and player interactions all depend on the same person being present and accountable. Allowing free switching creates an easy escape from consequences, enables cross-character information abuse, and undermines the immersion and fairness of every player involved in that storyline.

  • Bannable Offense: Any player found switching characters mid-session to avoid RP consequences, assist another character, or abuse the system will be immediately banned without warning. This includes first-time offenders. POV evidence or staff observation is sufficient for enforcement.

Enforcement & Consequences

  • Any player found breaking these rules, or attempting any illegal activity without the required play time, will face immediate action without warnings.

  • Severity of punishment depends on the nature of the violation.

  • If unsure about whether something is allowed (gang activity, items, commands), open a ticket on Discord or ask staff before acting in-game.
